Veritas R8 alarm- zones 'in fault'? Continued?

I'm hoping to receive a response from Death, who answered my last question about my Veritas R8 alarm being in fault.

So, I changed the fuse like you advised for 'Aux/Speaker' and that seemed to do the trick, although now when I do a Walk Test the red LED light for zone 3 comes on immediately and there is a quiet 'beep-beep' noise (not the same as for when zones are activated during the test).

Do you have any idea what might be wrong?

Thanks

seems like theres a fault with zone 3

walk past the sensor zone 3 and see if the sensor lights up

if it does its obviously working , open the main panel(the alarm will sound enter your code and press reset ) and look for zone 3 its possible z3 and check the wires are tightley in the two terminals if they are thats fine but if theres still a problem open the sensor the alarm may go off again do the same procedure and check the wires are tightley fitted if it works great !!

if senspr is broke not working at all open the main panel and look for aux check no black and red wires have come out of the terminals if not you have a faulty sensor and you will need to replace if it does leed to that then get back to me and i can help you with a sensor if you replace the broken one

let me know how it goes for now
