central locking fault on peugeot 206 1999?

when locking car with key, the locks jump straight back up and will not lock. only way to lock car is to press down passenger lock and holding down, then locking all other door manual.

Sounds as if your central locking actuator in the passenger door is faulty and needs a new one.
