My Girlfriend busted my Ipod headphones jack, now i cant get any sound out ?

How can I get my sound back, the phones jack has completley gone mute. i cannot hear anything out of it any longer. It's an ipod touch 2nd gen.
Please help, the silence in my car is so loud now that it's driving me nuts

You need to open up the ipod and solder in a new jack. This is not easy if you never did this before.
