How can I fix my Whirpool washer, Model #LBT6133AWO?

The washer is making a loud clicking noise from the agitator when it is spinning
Elizabeth Franklin, May 2006
Hello,

If you mean you hear the ticking noise under the agitator while its washing it sounds like the clutch dogs in the agitator are worn. This is not difficult to fix if this is the problem. You have to remove the cap on the agitator and then you'll see a bolt. Remove the bolt and the top of the agitator and the "dogs" are underneath. The agitator would have little or no movement while washing if this is the problem. Hope this helps.
