My Indesit dishwasher doesn't always dispense the wash tablet?

My dishwasher does a full wash cycle but occasionally fails to dispense the detergent tablet.
Is there any way that I can repair it myself?

My Zanussi dishwasher done the same thing so i have to put the tablet on the bottom on the inside, it works just as well and always disolves.
