I have an 18" Black and Decker electric hedge trimmer.
It jams very easily, and seems to have some sort of clutch between the motor and the blade---the motor runs but the blade does not oscillate. How do I fix or tighten the connection between the motor and the blade.

I have a similar problem. Have just stripped the gear box to find that the small gear attached to the motor is shredded. Will need to buy a new motor at £27.00
