how to keep my clock going?

I have just purchased an old Westminster Chimes clock and it won't keep going for more than about 30 seconds, I have tried propping it up on coasters to balance it, but it only improves it by a few seconds. Any suggestions please?

If it is out of oil, re oil it. If its oiled and still stops, there's a wear in the mechanism. If it does, then call a clock repairman.
