Beko wma642w fault when turned on to cycle ?? ?

I have the above washing machine and when i first set it off the water fills the machine then all of a sudden it just stops and the machine freezes up none of the buttons work and the only way to get the door open is to turn the machine off any idea's ????

hi had same fault changed motor brushes now works well £20 and one hour well worth a try

I eventually found the problem it was the brushes in the motor i stripped the motor down and cleaned the brushes and the motor put back together and seems to be working fine now
