GBC has national service force, at $$$$$ prices. If your around pittsburgh area I could take a look. Make certain all covers etc are closed and feed tray is in place. Thats a common source of no heat on GBCs.
I fix roll laminators for a living but havent had anyone with a ultimate 35 ask for repair.
incidently original GBC film for this model costs a fortune:( but you can buy 3 mil film and pry the end caps out and use other companies film which is much cheaper.
just make sure you load the film properly! once loaded both film on heat shoes should be dull only..
