Sansui AU-666 Stereo Amplifier?

Hello, i own a very old sansui amplifier. Im not sure if its just old or broken in some way, but when i plug speakers in the sound is just pure bad, its distorted and it cuts out alot. its like im not even listening to music and i cant hear words in movies. have you an idea of whats wrong?

You need to clean all the controls and switches with the proper cleaner Deoxit and Faderlube. You will find instructions on how to do this at AudioKarma.org.
Dust and dirt in switches and controls are the main source of issues with older audio equipment and the easiest to remedy.
