I have a Hotpoint RLA34G Future Fridge with a faulty thermostat, I have gained access to the actual stat but can not pull the sensing tube out of the top of the fridge. The top and sides are firmly bonded in place.
Any help in how to remove this would be appreciated.

The sensing tube just comes away from the stat just twist it off then attach to ne stat and reassemble
