Hi,

Our Polti Vaporetto Silver started leaking steam from the sides and making a shrill squealing noise whilst being used for ironing. We unplugged it and allowed it to cool down and empty the water from the tank, it was still quite full.
The Vaperetto is around 5 years old and we have ironically just had to replace the iron. Is the problem one that can be repaired easily , should I contact an engineer for repairs , or is this likely to be uneconomic and should we replace it?
