Locked window?

l have just moved into a new house and the bathroom window won't open, i think it is locked but there is no key that seems to open it, anybody have any idea's of how i can sort this problem?

most window locks are quite flimsy and alot can be open by turning a flat headed screw driver in the key slot. Good luck
