how do you replace a pull cord on a classic 35?

hi my pull cord on my briggs and stratton mower has snaped how do i replace it,i have the new cable but i do not have a manuel as it was a second hand mower from a friend.

Remove the screws holding the starter housing and blower housing on, wind the pulley up against spring tention, insert the new rope through the hole in the starter pulley, and out through the starter cover eyelet ( make sure you have knotted the other end of the rope ) allow the sprung loaded pulley to retract the cord, re fit the starter handle, if the cord does not fulley retract put another wind on the pulley
