SC397 Typhoon Steam cleaner ?

My Model SC397 Typhoon Steam cleaner has stopped working. It is definately the water filter. Does anyone know where I can get a new one?

It may not be the filter. That is easily checked. if you take the tank off, and blow through the filter, and air gets through, it's ok. On my cleaner, it was the pump. I took the pump apart and cleaned some grit out of it, and it works like new. It's easily dismantled. Remove the steamer unit from the floor handle assembly, remove the sdrews on either side of the nozzle and pull it off. There are 8 more screws in the side of the case, as well as 2 stickers that need to be cut, one under the water tank and one on the "foot" of the steamer unit. The pump is red with a nozzle to the outlet of the water tank and a red hose going to the heating element. Unscrew it from the metal bracket and separate the solenoid from the pump housing. there are 2 metal rings and a plastic one, staggered around the portion of the pump inserted into the solenoid, remove these and clean them. The pump can then be separated into 2 parts. The parts inside then can be cleaned of grit with white vinegar, reassembled and tested. It took me about an hour to figure all of this out, do the cleaning and reassembly, and testing the completed repair. Hve fun.
