cannon gas cooker oven lights but wont turn up?

cannon chichester main gas oven lights up but can not turn up. knob turns ok burner is not blocked, it is like it is stuck on slow cook.has any one else had this fault i think it might be control valve

the f.f.d.(flame faiure device} is not opening. either it is faulty or the sensor is not heating up to detect flame.
