brother PX 220 never had a problem but on this thin material its missing on all other materials its ok ?

Hello Jane,
If it is only missing on a particular type of material you should try an anti static needle, because the needle moves so fast it builds up static and on most fabrics it is not a problem, any fabric that has any synthetic mixed in may cause the static to build up in the needle and then discharge hence the missed stitch.
