how do u adjust cutting deck as belt keeps coming off?

I have a Westwood T1600.The drive belt on the cutting deck keeps coming off. I have bought a new belt but shows the old one has not stretched. there is not enough tension and I wondered where and how to make adjustment?

Are you routing the belt correctly? There is usually an idler pully under spring tension on the deck. It maintains belt contact with the pulleys.
