How can i repair the handbrake on my ford mondeo?

I have been unable to find the adjuster for the handbrake on my 1998 ford mondeo is it fully auto adjusting if so do i need a new cable, please help.

think you remove the container from rear of consul for access

there is some adjustment in the centre console where the handbrake is inside the car.look under there for it
