I have a new halogen light to replace the old bathroom light?

My new halogen bathroom light set (a gluster of 3) has a Live Neutral and earth wires. However the old bathroom light has 3 black wires 2 of which are wired together into one side of the fitting and one wired on oits own into the other side. How do I know what wire goes where?

The two blacks together are neutral - the single black on its own is Switched Live - to turn the light on and off.

For a controlled & switched 230V you wire lamps across the two blacks and the single black.

The lights do not connect to the red wires.
