Diplomat Ref No. Model ADP8221....have reset spring operated doorswitch to no avail...cycle light won't come on...power light is on ok....any suggestions as to how to contact them for service companies in our area (the wilds of argyll in Scotland...Tarbert , Loch Fyne? !! Cheers, John D.

Hi there

Not sure if this will help or not, but have had problems with my diplomat this week! Found that by removing bottom panel flap (under door at front of washer) you can acces the program timer control. I simply turned mine using a pair of pliers. It'll show you whether the stop/start button is working, or if there is a problem with the programmer. By truning the green knob, you should be able to cycle the washer through it's washing process.
