Europa 28 heating stays on?

I have an Europa 28 and the heating comes on without an input from the timer any ideas

hi it either a faulty contact on the timer or the washer in diverter valve that switches the central heating flow switch on is worn or damaged by debri normally rust. this is causing the pin to stay out keeping the heating switched on
