corsa 1.2 53 reg again well i did go to scapyard and got lower shaft there wasnt much difference between the both when holding in hand the inner slided freely in to the outer part is that ok i could not see any plastick pins on both of them parts is it ok or did he sell me a damage part so i stuck with same problem

ali, are you sure that there are no plastic pins in shaft between yokes,are there no signs of there ever being any fitted [are there any holes through which they would fit]i dont think you should be able to slide it in/out easilly.could you not check it against one at vauxhall dealers?
