While I am on the forum I would like to clear up the 7 safe that sometimes appears on the display, 7 safe means that a wrong code has been entered and the time between attempts gets longer and longer until you reach 10 wrong attempts and the radio is useless. My radio said 7 safe but I knew it would because I had entered the wrong code trying to get it working, heres what to do,
1 Turn on the ignition and if the radio is on turn it off.
2 Hold the AS button and turn the radio on hold the AS till you hear a bleep
3 If the display says 7 safe leave the ignition on and don't touch anthing.
4 After the waiting time is up, ten minutes in my case the display will read 10 _ _ _ _
5 Enter your code using 1 for the first digit, 2 for the second, 3 for the third and 4 for the fourth then press and hold AS button till it bleeps and the radio should work.
