Washing machine fault?

Hi
I have an Indesit washing machine and just lately it doesn't seem to be taking the fabric condition. I have tried cleaning the tray out and around the tray to no avail. Sometimes it just takes some of the condition and then fills up with water. Any ideas anyone ???
