hi, the E, means error, the letter that comes before it describes the fault. O means it can't or hasn't pumped Out within the alloted time. U means unbalanced load during spin. There are others. D for door open, I for inlet failed I think. I have the same machine, the pump fails to start until I kick the bottom of the machine, then it goes, the bearings have gone now, for the second time, so I don't think I'd try another LG, shame as I like the machine.
