scantronic 9800 service and fault light?

I have a scantronic 9800 and the service and fault light is on. I have tried entering the engineer codes which is 7890 and then 99. But his just set the alarm off and the have to enter my 4 digit code to stop the alarm.

Any help would be great>

You have not got the right alarm engineer code, if you cannot get hold of the installer you need to power down take out the nvm 8 pin chip boot up and put back in. all codes will default and zones reset and need programming back up.

Dario, why on eath do you think us engineers would leave a factory set code of 7890 in a panel. Ive had 3 calls today asking why when people enter this code does it not work. General Public read previous posts, Our answers are becomming less help-full because it gets rather BORING typing the same answers out over and over again.

Firstly that is not how to enter engineering. Close but no dice.
Secondly you need a new standby battery.

Ever noticed if you did a search thats what 99% of the questions are on here................bet you never looked did you.
