How do I turn off the 3xternal sounder on my Optima Burgler Alarm?

How do I turn off the external sounder on my Optima burgler alarm? The didfficulty is that the alarm system hasn't worked for the past five years. It is completely dead. In spite of that the external sounder is on and its driving the neighbours up the wall.
