my chain saw would not start so i did acarb job on it,put a new feul filter,and cleaned it ,spark plug is ok.it started on the 2nd pull and i cant keep it running.i set the adjustment screws at 1 1/4 turns. by the way it revs fairly high when i start

Adjustment screws are about right at that, these hobby machines are very prone to shacking themselves to bits, check all the securing bolts, cylinder base, induction block, if all else fails i normally pull the whole thing apart, fit new crank seals, re seal the bottom end, and replace induction block gasket.
