I have a hotpoint FF92 mistral fridge freezer and an error 8 message has appearewd on the digital display. What does it mean?

Hi e8 is a thermister problem. Thermisters are located in the freezer section 1 has green plug and other is yellow(evapourator). Suggest you change both. This will cure your problem.
