Zanussi zwd1681W won't do anything?

Turn machine on,after 3/4 seconds times out back to zero.Have tried usual checks(pump clear,water supply ok,inlet water solenoids ok etc.
In diagnostics have come up with error EF4.
Any ideas,I'm stuck!

your dryer element could be down to earth.mark the wires to the dryer element (4 off) and then disconnect them all from the dryer element.try the machine and see if it works.It could also be a faulty pcb but try the above test first
