how can i mend my hotpoint wm63?

my washing machine tries to wash (drum tries to turn) and on the spin, spins really slowly. any ideas to what it might be.

Remove belt and if drum and motor turn freely by hand....it's the motor armature thats gone. Either replace motor complete or change the armature
