how do I remove the complete Whale Elite mixer tap? ?

The tap and fitting are leaking when the system is pressured up. I have bourght the new tap but cannot get the old one off. I have undone the 17mm nut and tried to release the red and blue pipes but they will not budge. I have tried to push and pull the pipes but still nothing. Our 3 local caravan/motorhome centres cannot look at it for 3 weeks and we are away this weekend. Anyone please help.

These are misleading, to remove the pipes, there is a black plastic sleeve around the pipe, if you push the pipe up this sleeve will go up then, using your nails hold this sleeve up and then pull the pipe downwards.
Pulling the pipe without doing this just causes the grip to become tighter!!

Try warming the pipe ends with hair dryer then work them off. Failing that cut the pipes free and if too short lengthen with two short lengths joined with pipe connectors re-fit to taps job done.
