how can i fix my hotpoint fdw60 dishwasher?

The dishwasher fills with water at the start of the cycle but does not go into cleaning mode,i have no flashing lights and everything else works but just does not go into cleaning mode.

start machine and runs for a while then eco45 light comes on and machine stops but keeps humming
