How can I fix the brake switch on my 1999 Ford Galaxy. ?

I have replaced the brake switch on my 1999 Ford Galaxy Auto but the fuse keeps blowing and the brake lights and gear selector button will not work how do I fix this

look at the wiring in the rubbers that go to the doors and the boot /tailgate.they might be broken and shorting out.common issue
