How can fix my NEC-452 washing machine?

LE error code on with a continuous alarm? Tried running new cycle, but stop after filling water and LE error code appeared. Would not pulsate and would not progress in washing cycle.

My nec nw 452 fills with water, but then does not wash. It tries, but only makes a noise, it does not rotate.
Spin/drain works fine.
Any ideas please?

Check the switch on the top door. (need to undo some screws at the top back)
