Hotpoint refrigerator door will not close?

My older Hotpoint side by side refrigerator will not close. It appears that is has slipped down on the hinge. Is there some kind of an adjustment other than removing & replacing the door hinge?

There is possibly a missing shim or riser at the lower hinge. I would need the model number to say for sure.
