I have a Smeg dishwasher which has worked perfectly up to this week. It now stops approximately 16 minutes from the end of the cycle and shows the error message E 8.
I have unfortunately been unable to find the manual or code on the product to provide these details for you. I look forward to your reply.

E8 error according to the manual of my Blv1 dishwasher is "Alternate Washing System Malfunction".

According to the manual you should stop the program, switch of the appliance. Turn it back on, reprogram and try again. If the problem persist contact after-sales.

From own experience contacting after-sales will result in them wanting to send over a mechanic and charging a fortune to mend your dishwasher.
