Ford CD6000 - Serial Key?

I would like to remove and "improve" my cd player, however i don't have the car manual so i am missing the cd players serial and key, i was wondering if there is any way to find this out before i take the thing out and lock it!

no the only way to get the code is by the serial.
remove the radio carefully then write the serial down to get your code.

6 and 2 doesn't work, the player still works fine, but i dont know if it will lock when i remove it! Is there any other way to find the key before i remove it?

try pressing 6 and 2 to see if the serial rools across the display.
