sd memory full?

Son has a fuji s2500hd camera he has deleted all photos but sd card still says memory full what does he need to do to correct this?

Assuming he wanted to delete all the pictures and wants to reuse the card, you will need to reformat it like David says. I would do this on a pc:
1. Close all running and open applications on your computer to avoid loss of work while formatting the memory card.
2. Insert the memory card into the built-in memory card slots within your computer or plug a memory card reader into the USB slot and then insert the memory card into the memory card reader.
3, Go to "Start" and then "My Computer" to display a list of active drives on your computer. Right-click on the memory card; the drive will be labeled "SDCard" or simple "SD." From the list of options, select "Format." This will begin the format process.
4. Click "Format" on the box that appears showing the memory cards statistics. Allow the program to completely format the card. You will be prompted to remove the card once finished.
