I have no side dip or main beam on the front n/s of my 2000 reg ford ka, I tried a simple curuit test from the headlight plug to earth but there was no power, what is the electical box on th rear of the headlight unit? all other lights are working ok

check the fuse box for a blown fuse,i take it that you have checked the bulb?
