When we bought our Neptune washer about 5 years ago when the cycle ran through the compartments for softener and bleach would be completely rinsed and empty after a load of laundry. Since we moved the compartments have been about half to completely full of water after a wash cycle, and just recently the softener side has not been flushed out very well leaving a heavy residue of fabric softener left in it.
