I installed new battery and it ran fine the whole 4 hrs. it usually takes to cut the lawn. Stopped and started multiple times. Stopped to attach my wagon and it would not start. now sounds/clicks when key turned and would not even light the headlights. ?????
sound like engine charger not charging battery so engine running on battery and each time you use starter its knocking out a lot of current from battery so less running time. get charging sytem on mower engine checked. clicking is always sign of flat battery or on occasions a stuck starter which can usually be freed by removing spark plug[to prevent any possible starting] putting mower in drive and rolling mower back and forth to free starter.

clicking on the key turn,, check that the leads are very tight on the battery pole heads, or the battery is run down , give it a good overnight charge,,
