we have a silencio 850 dishwasher one day it decided not to empty out water so we cleaned out all fittings in the bowl and it still didnt empty so my husband took it out of the wall and took the pump off which was blocked by a piece of plastic he put it back together and we switched it on and it kept overfilling what has gone wrong please

Did he lay it down to access the pump. If so then water may of entered the clear plastic hose which goes to the pressure sensor for the fill level. Locate the pressure sensor, pull the hose off the sensor & blow down it to push any water back in to the tub. Put hose back on to sensor & retry machine.
