How to fix K Carriage Brother KH891?

What would be the reason of K Carriage jam? It is not related to the tension or the yarn. Even without the yarn, it gets jammed in both sides of the carriage.
Thanks,
Jane

Thank you very much for your response. I will keep it in mind for the future. This time it is just old and very dense oil. Looks like the machine was not in use for a long time. I cleaned the old grease completely in the carriage and the bed, and re-oiled it. The carriage runs without any jams. now.

Thank you,
Jane

Hi Jane,

Have you checked the condition of your sponge bar? If it is not exerting enough pressure on the needles they will sit too high and cause problems. The foam needs to be at least 1/4 inch above the metal bar along the whole length.

If you need a replacement, Metropolitan have them in stock.
