leak from filter?

Zanussi jetstream 1200 FJS 1225w

Leaking from filter door (badly) I have removed and cleaned filter and checked for blockage in outflow pipe. But water pours from centre of filter unit even when tightly screwed closed ?
Any suggestions PLease???????????

the filter plug must not be tightened too much or you will ruin the seal,so if its not that,you may have a crack in the casing
