how do i fix a jason windows sliding door lock?

The long shoot bolt that goes up and down seems to have failed, i've tried to take apart but can't seem to get it out to see what the problem is. Do i have to take out the fixed panel of glass to get the door out or is there another way.

the door handle of my sliding door has fallen off. How do I put it back together.

When you look the door the handle is locked but you can still slide the door open? if so there is a pin that has fallen out which keeps the door looked. happens to mine all the time. trying to find out if you can order the pin today.
