My playstation portable wont turn on the light comes on but nothing else occasionally a logo comes up on the screen.

it sounds like you have flashed the firmware wrong. (psp thats gone dead after flash is called BRICKED but power led still lights up) to fix it you will need to buy a psp UP modchip.. once you have installed this mod chip you can then repair the bad flash.
