I have an SAM4s ER-5215M--indicates paper jam??

I have an SAM4s ER-5215M which is giving me a message which, I think, indicates a paper jam. However, I've taken the paper out and there doesn't appear to be a jam anywhere. This started when I had to change to a new roll of paper. Please help!
