Flashing Base 1 ?

I need help fixing my cordless phone. It seems to be fully charged but is flashing Base 1. It will not let me do anything to do, for example if i went to Setup and then press menu it doesnt let me do anything and goes back to Base 1. Please help! Thanks Shelley
